3. Open the site, tell us what you'd like to change and we'll show you the new version. Nothing goes public until you approve it.
4. If you already have a domain, we'll explain how to connect it. If not, we'll check whether the name you want is available and tell you where to register it in your name.

Includes the first year. After that, €19 a year. The site is yours. 3 changes in the first 90 days. Extra pack: 3 changes for €25, valid for 90 days. Or take the files and host the site wherever you like.
Cuidado

5 changes a month, visitor statistics, the option to restore earlier versions and an alert if your site goes offline. You can request changes by email or from your site's page. Support: Email, 1 working day.
Cuidado+

15 changes a month, email @your-domain and WhatsApp support. You can request changes by email or from your site's page. Support: Email + WhatsApp, 1 working day.
VAT included. You pay the registrar directly for your domain (about €20 a year for a .pt domain).

Questions
Do I need to know anything about computers?
No. Just answer four questions about what you do. To request changes, write as you would in an email: “change the title”, “add the summer opening hours”.
What if I don't like the site?
Tell us what you'd like to change until the site feels right for you. You can also return to an earlier version. If it still isn't what you're looking for, you can stop there: you haven't paid anything and nothing has been published.
How long does it take?
You'll receive the first link by email shortly after answering the questions. Connecting the domain depends on the registrar: it's usually ready the same day, but can take up to 48 hours.
Do I need to have a domain already?
No. If you don't have one yet, we check whether the name you want is available and explain how to register it in your name (about €20 a year). When you buy a .pt domain, the registrar asks you to confirm your email and mobile number. It takes a few minutes. If you already have a domain, we explain how to connect it to the site.
What about my email? Will it stop working?
It shouldn't. Before we connect your domain, we copy your email records and check they came across unchanged. If anything doesn't match, we stop and talk to you before going ahead. Afterwards, we ask you to send a test email to confirm.
What happens after the first year?
We let you know in advance. You can stay on the Base plan (€19 a year), move to Cuidado (€12 a month or €120 a year) or Cuidado+ (€24 a month or €240 a year), or take the files and host them wherever you like. Renewal and cancellation are covered in the terms.
Do I have to sign anything?
There's no lock-in contract. Before the site goes online, you confirm that you accept the terms.
What are the conditions for a free website?
When you approve, we ask for two sentences about your experience and permission to show the site as an example. We don't guarantee we'll feature it. If you'd rather not give permission, building the site costs the standard price of €59. The footer link stays.
What if I already have a website?
We build a new site and only publish it on your domain once you approve it. Until then, your old site keeps working.
Is it for artists and associations too, or only companies?
It's for anyone who needs a website. We don't ask for a company tax number: musicians, clubs and parents' associations all receive the same service.
Is the site a single page?
Yes, it's a one-page website: everything a visitor needs in one place, designed to load quickly on mobile. For most businesses and projects, that's enough.
Where do I find my request later?
We'll email you a personal link. If you lose it, request a new one at umsite.pt/en/my-site using the same email address.
